AI Governance

Governance that executes, not just documents

Most AI governance frameworks describe what should happen. Praecise enforces it — at the point where agents actually act.

The governance loop

Four steps that run in sequence on every agent action — identify, delegate, execute, record.

01

Identify

Establish cryptographically verifiable identity for every human and agent participant before granting any authority.

02

Delegate

Grant scoped, time-bounded permissions from human principal to agent — with spending limits and protocol restrictions.

03

Execute

Agents act within their delegated authority. Every action is verified against the delegation scope before it takes effect.

04

Record

Actions, inferences, and lineage are written to a tamper-proof audit trail in real time — queryable by DID, agent, protocol, or date.

Core capabilities

Verified Agent Identity

Every AI agent is issued a W3C decentralised identifier with a verifiable delegation chain. Counterparties always know who authorised the agent, what it is permitted to do, and for how long.

Scoped Delegation

Humans delegate authority with explicit permission sets — resource scopes, protocol restrictions, spending limits, and expiry. Agents operate within those bounds, not around them.

Tamper-Proof Audit Trail

Every model inference, autonomous action, credential presentation, and data lineage step is written to an immutable audit log with full provenance — meeting EU AI Act Art. 12 requirements.

Privacy-Preserving Compliance

Zero-knowledge proofs and selective disclosure allow organisations to demonstrate regulatory compliance without exposing sensitive data to auditors or counterparties.

Human-in-the-Loop Controls

High-risk agent actions can be gated behind human review checkpoints. Delegation is revocable at any time — authority flows from the human, not from the model.

Regulation-Ready by Default

EU AI Act Art. 12, GDPR Art. 5/6/7/9/17, and NIST AI RMF GOVERN 1.7 are embedded in the data model and enforcement logic — not added as an afterthought.

Built for regulated environments

The Praecise governance system is designed from the ground up for organisations that operate under regulatory scrutiny — financial services, healthcare, defence, and government. Compliance is not a reporting layer; it is the execution layer.

EU AI Act Art. 12 — mandatory logging of high-risk AI system decisions

GDPR Art. 5, 6, 7, 9, 17 — lawful basis tracking and right to erasure

NIST AI RMF GOVERN 1.7 — autonomous agent action accountability

W3C DID Core and VC 2.0 — open, portable identity standards

Verifiable audit trail queryable by regulators, auditors, and stakeholders
